Searching the library

The Library page, showing the full catalog as a grid of book covers

The Library page is your full catalog — every book you've ever added, in one searchable, filterable list.

Searching

Use the search box at the top of the screen at any time. Type a title, author, or keyword and press Enter, or click the barcode icon inside the search box to scan a book's barcode with your device's camera instead of typing.

Grid or table view

Use the toggle button next to the Add book button to switch between:

  • Grid view — book covers displayed as cards, which loads more results automatically as you scroll (infinite scroll).
  • Table view — a compact list with columns for cover, name, ISBN, category, and language, paged with standard table navigation.

Filtering

Click Add filter above the results to narrow the list down, for example to:

  • No stock — books that currently have no physical copies recorded.
  • Has stock — books that have at least one copy.

Active filters appear as chips you can remove individually by clicking the ×.

Adding a book from here

The Add book button in the top-right lets you add a new title straight from the search screen — either by ISBN or manually.

Opening a book

Click any book (its cover in grid view, or its name in table view) to open its detail page, where you can edit its information and manage its physical copies.
